Printing Method and System

This solvent-based overprint varnish is specifically designed for flexographic and rotogravure printing systems.

Suitable Film Type:

Polyester film

Technical Specifications:

• Provides scratch and abrasion resistance to the printed image.
• Appearance: Milky white
• Suitable for surface printing.
• Not suitable for prints with lamination.

Application Method:

• Used as the final printing layer.
• Mix thoroughly before use.
• Viscosity adjustment:
• Flexo system: Isopropyl alcohol or anhydrous ethanol 80% + ethyl acetate 20% (1:4)
• Helio system: Isopropyl alcohol or anhydrous ethanol 50% + ethyl acetate 50% (1:1)
• Retarder: Ethylene glycol or methoxy propanol
• Drying time accelerator: Ethyl acetate
• Application rate: 1.5-3 grams per square meter
• Drying temperature: 70-80°C
• Shelf life: Six months in sealed containers from the date of production.
